Cheryl T. Pillsbury
I began writing in my teens, in a diary and noticed
the diary turned into a story and that’s where Angus Grady began. Over
the years, other stories came along. I had my daughter at 35, her name
is Alicia. She’s a special needs child, PDD-Autism. The list is too
long but she’s my life line. I got married at 36.
I met Al Blanchard who’s also a published writer,
‘Murder on Walden Pond.’ He was a close friend and my mentor. He sadly
passed away November 14, 2004.
I have several books published:
Angus Grady; The Beginning and AG; Spirit of Arachula
Bradley & Farley; 33rd District
Nathan: The Chosen
Peleport
Amie and the Purple Butterfly (series for Autism)
My Underworld (Kellie Wynne—pen name)
AG Press: a company I developed from past experiences with other
publishers. I wanted something that could be inexpensive and help other
author’s see their name and words in print. We have low prices; offer a
huge variety of services for your book plus your personal/business
life. We’re a team and we work that way among ourselves and with the
author. So far in six months, we have published 8 books. We’re on
Amazon, working on Barnes and Noble, Books-in-million, Toadstool
Bookstore and our website.

Born and raised in Northern Indiana, writing was a
talent that came natural to me at a young age. From
writing in a diary to starting newsletters in my
community, not a single thought passed about making
writing and editing a career. I have a Bachelor's degree
in Communication and Journalism from Bethel College in
Indiana and just received my Masters in Digital Media
Communication from Regent University in 2010. I've held
several positions from public relations to graphic
design and web development. I currently volunteer for a
non-profit animal rescue organization maintaining a
website I designed while in my last semester at Regent.
I also do contract work for a graphic and web design
company based out of Indiana.

I, Alysun
Sanders, was born in Vallejo, California on October 13,
1990. Started trying to write my first book in first grade,
but I always wanted to be a storyteller. I moved to Coeur
d’Alene, Idaho when I was nine years old, and thought of the
idea for EKTA when I was fourteen. Continued working on it
through the end of middle school and throughout all of high
school, along with a few short stories. Finished my first
novel in my sophomore year, and immediately began work on
the second. Now 17, I live with my mom and dad in Hayden,
and I hope to continue writing for the rest of my life.

My pen name is Larsen M.
Callirhoe. I am 37 years old male born March 31, 1971.
I was in a car accident in August 1996 which changed my
outlook in life. My wife Joyce left me then and I am now
divorced and single. I now believe I can make a difference
in the world with my writings. In this accident I became a
quadriplegic because I broke my neck. I can move my arms and
right hand and right fingers allowing me to do daily
functions such as bathing, shaving, brushing my teeth,
combing my hair etc... and it also allows me to type on the
keyboard with that hand also. I started writing in June
2000.when I lived on my own in a apartment in Cincinnati,
Ohio. I am now a resident in a nursing home called Glencare
in Cincinnati, Ohio. You can drop me a line oh i mean
letter because my name is listed a few sentences below in
this article and the address of this nursing home is listed
on the internet too. My birth name is Victor M. Lashewitz.
As i said I believe my writings especially my poetry and
short stories that I write can impact the world and make a
difference and are now very spiritually oriented and
focused. I have been studying college grammar on my own
with computer disk I purchased bin 2003 June. I have
learned how to write more accurately with this computer
program. Well I look forward to being on the writing staff
of Poetic Monthly. I also look forward to getting to know
the staff. Here is a little more back ground information on
me. I was born in south Florida and grew up in that area.
I lived there till November 1999. I love the beach, reading
Anne Rice novels, Stephen King Novels, many other writers
novels, I'm a Star Wars geek (lol), I love music, I believe
in spirituality, and I love reading and writing poetry. I
used to love collecting and reading comic books until I got
hurt in 1996 and had to give up this hobby because I
couldn't afford the comic books anymore. I miss reading
comic books dearly. Well now you have gotten a better
understanding of me. I now emphasize wearing a seatbelt
when driving in a vehicle. I didn't and became paralyzed in
a accident because I didn't wear one. So please take care
of yourself.
Til next time. Larsen M. Callirhoe.

Lanaia Lee was born in 1957 to a Navy father and a schoolteacher
mother who home-schooled her. In second grade, she was reading on a 4th
grade level, so they moved her to a private school to enhance her
education. When she was nine years old, her mother died from a massive
stroke. Because her father was rarely home, her grandmother, a professed
black witch, gained custody.
When Lanaia was 14, her grandmother abandoned her, and she landed in
foster care where she had four different sets of foster parents within a
year, because she kept running away to avoid men who attempted to molest
her.
At age fifteen, she went to boarding school on her dad's GI Bill. She
graduated in her junior year after which she drifted, living with
various people with neither a family nor a home. At eighteen, she
married and divorced having three miscarriages. By nineteen, she began
working in management for convenient stores and restaurant chains.
In 2001, David dared her to write a poem. Out of curiosity, she posted
it in an online poetry forum. The feedback was so positive, she kept
writing. At first, she wrote just poems, then short stories and finally
novels. All of her work is typed one-handed because of her disabilities.
Lanaia gives credit to the grace of God which has helped her overcome
immense adversity, hold her head high, and she claims she won’t quit
until she hits the best seller list. |

I am 64 years old, live in
Florida with my husband Ray and our Rottie "Shebubba." I have
two beautiful children, two terrific stepsons, all grown, and
four awesome grandchildren.
Recuperating from a quadruple
cardiac by-pass in June of 2007, I had plenty of time to begin
taking my "ramblings" a little more seriously. Poetry has
always been a fascination of mine, as well as a deep desire to
write short stories. Most of my writings previously were short
poems for friends and family, but with extra time on my hands
during this period, I decided to take this ambition to a more
serious level.I began submitting a few poems to the poetry sites
on the Internet to see what responses I would receive. Well,
clearly, I had mixed reviews, some good, some awful. This
encouraged me to seek out and complete several creative writing
courses and to participate in our local college Poetry Weekend
program - I loved it! From then on, I knew this was going to be
my challenge.
I began to read all types of poetry, learn the various forms,
and to break my old habits of writing all rhyming poetry. Now,
jotting notes everywhere I go, be it the grocery store, the
beach, a road trip, anywhere, I find so many things of which to
write. The beauty of our world opens doors of such creativity,
if we just open our eyes and appreciate what we see. It is all
there for our minds to consume and to do with whatever we wish.
As a start, A.S.P. Books published a few of my poems in two
anthologies. The first being Doors of Creativity and the
second, Doors 2, with some wonderful writers and artists
featured as well. In December of 2008, A.S.P. Books published a
first edition of my poetry and a couple of short stories,
Attempting Possible Dreams. I know I have a long way to go,
but I intend to travel the miles, learn, and do the work it
takes to accomplish my dreams. I thank God for all the blessings
I have received during my lifetime, and I now know that the
tumultuous life led during my childhood and young adult life has
had a purpose, leading me to become the person that I am today. |

I am a full
time Secretary At South East Real Estate Management
Company. I am an empty Nester with one 10yr old grand child
(she's the apple of my eye). I have been married to my personal
hero for 30+ years (my life mate). I love to read. More than
that, I love creating my own characters. Giving each birth. To
watch them spring to life that they literally jump off the pages
throughout their story. They are my passion.. To be a good
writer, you have to feel the words with your heart. This cannot
be taught from books or joining clubs.
I believe the stories I
create are not mine but my characters'. I have been blessed by
God to have been given the ability to slip their porthole,
whether it be fiction or fact. What I strive for my readers is
this: My readers will not be disappointed.. My characters will
be keepers.

I began writing when I was in third grade back
when I was like 9 going on 10. I loved to write. Had a
passion but I let it die off. When I graduated high
school that passion came to life again. It wasn't until
I was 29 that my dream would see the light. That was
when Cerebral Palsy a condition I was born with came
back and changed my life forever. The Doctor I had when
I was young said it would come back in my adult years.
I had asked God. "What do I do with my life?" He gave my
that answer in a way I would never have guessed! He
changed me forever and gave me a purpose in life. And I
will see his wish though to the end.

writer who owns a closet full of journals – a 15 year collection
of stories and thoughts. She has written consistently since the
age of 12, to personally determine the meaning of life – or at
least her own, if nothing more. Shana is enthusiastic over
anything that might offer an idea to be explored or figured out.
She is a writer, a painter, a deep thinker and an over-analyzer
that writes to offer idea’s and hopefully shed meaning on some
of life’s most complicated situations. From information to new
ideas, Shana hopes not to change your mind on any one thing, but
to expand your horizons of thought. She believes that life is
one big canvas for an always beautiful picture, no matter where
the mistakes hide out. Life, painting, and writing – these are
her passions.
Shana Barhydt writes internet
content for several websites. She ghost writes for various blogs
around the Internet and about different topics relating to
cars - including sales and dealership practices, insurance and
loan information. Shana is presently working on her first book,

I can't remember not writing. As a
child, I would write little poems for my mom and
grandmother for their birthdays and other occasions. One
of my happiest memories is finding a poem I had written
to my grandmother, framed and hanging in her office. I
knew then that that's what I wanted to be when I grew
up. Except when asked that very question, I would
answer, "I want to be a teacher." Knowing that I would
teach when I grew up, I was forever organizing the
neighborhood kids to be in my class, and of course, I
taught spelling and writing. My favorite subjects. When
school let out, I was the kid writing plays for the
other children to perform to entertain our parents on
those long, hot summer evenings.
When I became a mother and began
reading to my children, it sparked an interest in
writing children's stories. As I faced numerous
challenges in my life, I began to journal,
and found that it made for some pretty good reading.
I have not declared a specific
genre for my writing because I write all of it depending
on my mood. I'm currently editing my children's book,
I'm writing a novel that I hope to finish, I'm working
on a cookbook, and I continue to write poetry.
After raising my eight children, it
is finally my opportunity to take time for myself and my
craft. In addition to a small hand painted baby shoe
business, I am the secretary of Friends of the Library,
and organizer of the
Montana
Author's Month. In my spare time I enjoy gardening,
reading and playing with my grandchildren. |

I grew up in Dallas but have lived in Nebraska since
my marriage. My husband and I own a industrial cleaning
equipment business that has been in the family since
1968. We have two children, Jimmy and Christian. I
have always loved writing and used to journal when I was
a young child. I didn’t start writing poetry until I
found my father deceased in his apt two years ago. It
has been wonderful therapy for me and I hope it will
help others who are grieving for a loved one.
My mother has been my inspiration and has helped me
figure out what kind of novels I want to write. She is a
New York Times bestselling author with twelve books
under her belt. She wrote her first novel at the exact
age I starting writing. I am currently writing a romance
novel and hope to have it completed by the fall of this
year. My children have been my first priority for the
last fourteen years.
My youngest Christian has a form of autism called
Semantic Pragmatic Disorder. He is in a special class
and receives speech therapy three times a week. Anyone
who has a child with autism knows it consumes most of
your time leaving little room for anything else.
We are just now finding out that our special child has
savant characteristics. He has been reading since he was
two and designing his own logos. I feel having a child
with autism is such a blessing because they are not
affected by all the emotions that we feel. The next
novel that I plan on writing is my life with my son. I
have always tried to help others and hope this book will
give parents hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Hello and thank you for your
passion. I was born and raised in heart of the heartland,
Omaha , Nebraska
, 43 years ago and have lived a very interesting life. I am a
lover of life and everything that comes with it... good, bad and
indifferent. My blessings are plentiful. Happily married to my
polar opposite (I'm 4'10" tall and he is 6'7") for over 22
years, gifted with a spunky daughter of grace and filled with
love and compassion from friends and family around the world, I
cannot complain.
The love of writing came to me when I was seven years old. My
grade school guidance counselor advised me to write down my
emotions, fears and frustrations while she tried to teach me
that I could not save the world.
Over the years, I have written more than a hundred poems and
several short stories. I am currently currently working on
three novels. The first is nearly complete, a suspense thriller
with many hidden messages of self help, believe it or not. This
one is sure to be a best seller, as it includes a bit of
everything for every reader. I call it, "The P.J.'s".
The second, a short story, is a memoir of my trials in becoming
a Playboy bunny, in the early 80's, against all odds. It is
funny, inspirational and will warm the hearts of many.
I've
titled it, "Little Tail, Big Tale".
The third novel has just begun. I had to put the previous two
on hold while I live the pages of my biggest challenge, yet.
"A Book and Its Cover", is the story of my fight to slay breast
cancer using the strength I've earned from my childhood, or what
I like to call Boot Camp.
I look forward to sharing my artistic expression of words with
each and every one of you. Thank you for the opportunity! |

Jan 7, 1977 in her hometown of Clarksville, TN, B.M.
Song
(Brandy-Michelle) is an up and coming newly signed
author/poet. She is ecstatic about her first book of
prose, "Liquid Reflections: A Stream of Fluid Prose" to
come out within the year! She has been writing since the
age of twelve starting out, unknowingly as a lyricist.
After her grandmother passed away from a long fight with
cancer...at the age of 16, Her poetry became even more
defined and profound, which has thus enabled her to
further develop herself as the poet and author she is
today.
Many of her close friends and people she holds dear to
her heart have given her the honorable title of
'Renaissance Lady," due to the fact that while her soul
belongs to another era long gone, her poetry is classic
while maintaining an innovative and modern approach. |

years of business development and over twenty-five years
in the computer industry. During this time he has had
many articles explaining technology to the layperson
published in various print and web magazines and

Jack had his first poems published at age 10 when his
fifth grade teacher submitted two pieces that were
accepted by a literary magazine. Since then Jack has
written poetry off and on throughout his life, taking it
up seriously in the summer of 2007.

As with his poetry, Jack prefers interesting takes on
commonplace themes. |

I
have been the Southeast Regional Vice President for a physician
recruiting firm. I have been an outside representative for IBM
in Savannah, Georgia. I have been a public school teacher in
Elementary School, Middle School, and
High School. I have been a bible class teacher for
classes the size of many congregations in our great land. I have
performed marriage ceremonies for friends and family members.
For a number of years I worked with movie studios providing them
with statistical analysis for their most recent on-screen
presentations. Most recently, I have served three years as
Director of Admissions and am currently serving as the Student
Services Coordinator for the largest aviation maintenance
training facility in the country.
My new book,
Moments of
Mine, came from the halls of Campbell High
School where I would broadcast poetic emails to my fellow
faculty members three to four times per week. One such week a
representative from the English Department came to me. I didn't
know if it was a good thing that she had come by or not. I
quickly found it to be a good thing and the book
Moments of
Mine came, if I had to pick a day, from that
visit. The encouragement of peers is a wonderful thing. After
that fellow teachers would ask me to write poems on specific
things like their school affiliations, poems for their
sweethearts, poems for any number of things. I even got a
request from a student to write one on how much her mom meant to
she and her brother. All because they seemed to like poetry.
I
am still writing today as I did 30 years ago. There is still
fresh subject matter in the everyday world that we live. It is
where inspiration, as well as frustration, lies. Somethings are
lost before I can remember to put them in written form. I try to
carry a not pad but sometimes it is gone before the pen hits the
paper. Inspiration is the fragile sister of torment. Writers
experience them both. |

Debbie has enjoyed the written word since she
was a child and takes a specific liking to Contemporary and
Historical romance. Debbie began writing with poetry, which she
dabbled in since childhood and continued through adulthood. It
wasn't until a few years ago that she took her writing further
and wrote her first book, and since, she has enjoyed the journey
of exploring many genres, and finding a love of everything to do
with words. Debbie finds joy in escaping to a blank screen and
creating a world of her own, and loves the freedom of allowing
her characters to dictate the story to her. On the flip side of
that editing brings new challenges because the characters are
written, and it's so much fun to work with an author to help
them fulfill their dreams and find ways to see things in their
characters that they might not have thought of. Debbie very much
enjoys working with authors to polish their work and see it
through to publication. When not writing or editing she can
often be found cooking, with her friends, or with her young
child doing any number of things.

Alessandrina Lerner is the
author of two books. “The Essence of Love” (Sep’09) is a
beautiful poetry book illustrated by a precocious 10-year
old Artist and daughter to the author, Amandine Love Lerner.
It aspires to take the readers on a journey to the core of
themselves through inspirational poems of a meditative
nature. Alessandrina’s first novel, “Spiritual
Enlightenment in the Age of Cybersex” (Dec’ 09), is a
comedic spiritual gem which introduces Spiritual teachings
with humor and a real urban flavor, making them accessible
to a modern, and maybe a little less spiritually inclined
crowd.
Alessandrina Lerner has
been writing poetry since she was 8, and wrote her first
short novel when she was 12. Though she left her childhood
dreamworld, obtained an MBA in International Finance from
French Ivy league University Paris IX- Dauphine, and went
on to pursue a high profile career in the world of
International Finance, Alessandrina never forgot her true
love and kept cultivating a passion for writing all
throughout, continuing to write poetry and short stories as
a hobby, whenever time allowed.
Traveling to over 55
countries in the context of her career, she fulfilled the
explorative part of her dream, yet found herself seeking
more meaningful experiences to further nourish her soul.
Motherhood pushed her further in that direction, propping
her to quit her job and start training with a Spiritual
Indian Master to become a Yoga Therapist, now her primary
occupation since 2001.
Having grown increasingly
passionate and talented in the Art of inspiring others
through Yoga, Alessandrina decided to take it to the next
level by going back to her roots and honoring her true
essence by dedicating herself to writing. Since writing
books seemed like the most logical step to disseminate the
spiritual knowledge she has acquired on her journey,
Alessandrina has decided to embrace her new path
with love, dedication, and the greatest hope for the future.
Alessandrina is currently
preparing a new poetry book, “Spiritual Metamorphosis”,
which should be out some time in 2010. She is working on a
number of other literary projects, including a few children
books, a spiritual movie script, a Yoga manual, and sequels
to her first novel that just released. She has many other
artistic projects in the pipeline, which she hopes to be
able to dedicate herself to in the coming years.
You can find
Alessandrina’s first two books on the following websites:

A beach kid at heart, I
grew up in Simi Valley California, playing
softball, camping at the beach and writing.
Coming from a family of 5 siblings and artistic
parents, there was never a shortage of
excitement and experiences. I now reside in
Denver Colorado, where I continue to write, own
a business and coach girls softball.
While writing was always fun for me it was my
friends that encouraged me to pursue it.
They would say, there's something greater in the
words and thought I had a gift to touch people.
They would share experiences with me, I would
write about them and they would ask:
“How did you do that? You
captured it all so perfectly”
I never really had an
answer, the words just came and I put them on
paper. Over the years I’ve continued this path
and found no greater satisfaction than knowing
the words I write touch people’s heart. That in
some way the words provide comfort, strength and
the courage to help others live happier and
healthier lives.

Rachel Jeanette Hall Stolle was born and raised in a
little town called Jefferson, in North East Texas. As
soon as she was born, God never left her side. He
guided her through economic hardships, sexual abuse by a
distant family member, an attempted kidnapping turned
carjacking, and years of spiritual warfare.
Today Rachel is a 29 year old Baylor University
graduate, preschool teacher, and stay-at-home mom in
Waco, Texas. As she looks back at her childhood with
great appreciation and respect for the unending love of
her Heavenly Father, her relationship with God grows
even stronger.
Rachel's children's picture book, "Why Did This Happen
to Me, Aunt Lou?", is the first in a series of Christian
picture stories for children designed to help parents
integrate God and scriptures into the everyday
explanations they give their children, while honoring
the life of Louise Ritchie.
Rachel writes and illustrates her own works with the
help of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. |

My
writing career started at the age of 62. Mandy The Alpha Dog, a
story of overcoming all obstacles was written to help my grand
daughter deal with her fears due to the divorcing of her
parents. Mandy, the first book in the series The Chronicles of
The K-9 Boys and Girls on Locus Street is illustrated in cartoon
fashion to entertain and educate the 7-12 year old, our target
audience.
I have been blessed through my marriage in traveling from
coast to coast and border to border in this vast and beautiful
county, the United States. I was born in Brooklyn, New York in
1945 and after marriage at the tender age of 19, the adventures
began. I forwent my education to become a high school
teacher/librarian and worked to educate my husband who taught in
colleges, prisons, and on reservations. He also served in the
Navy which added to our transitory wanderings. During our
migration, I put my business background to work in office
services and in tutoring.
Our goal in life has always been to help the _underdog_ and
to insure that there is a healthy environment mentally,
physically, and spiritually.
The Chronicles of the K-9 Boys and Girls series with Mandy The Alpha
Dog as the lead book has become a driving force in our life.
The series is populated by four rescue dogs who interact in
solving serious life issues but always with humor and hope. The
dogs always seem to have a tale [they prefer tail] to tell and
as long as they speak, I will record their chronicles and my son
will illustrate with cartoons.
My genre is children and animals, helping them accomplish being all they
can be, so they in turn can be the helping hand for the next
generation. A minimum of 10% of our proceeds go to animal
rescue or other charities as the books deem. |

Rebecca Guild, I have always teased people that
I would write a book about my life someday. I find humor in many things
and I found that I tend to inspire people and I have been told I am a
strong person. I do attribute some of my ability to remain strong and
focused in my lifelong journal keeping. I have lived all over the
country and met many different people and have done many different
things. I like to remain positive at all times and try to share that
with others. One of my favorite sayings is, "You never know what could
happen tomorrow." Life is really a gift and I like to live as if I
appreciate that. I am a single parent and I have certainly used that
when I am observing the world. I find that my views are sometimes very
different due to my perspective on the world. I don't oppose convention
but have been known to cause some controversy from time to time.
I find myself examining people and things all
the time wondering how things work. I think I have always had a
questions about everything and the older I get the more questions I tend
to have. I plan on visiting Italy soon to celebrate my turning forty
and getting my college degree. I love to read and share what I have
learned and with others and am thankful for all the opportunities I have
been given... even if some are because I have a famous big brother like
Martin White. |

It has been a life long dream of hers to become a published
author. She was a young student in the Houston Public School
system in Houston, Mississippi when she began writing. Her love
for literature showed in all that she did. She found that she
had a love the romance genre of writing when she was in the
fourth grade. That was when I first read “Romeo and Juliet” by
William Shakespeare. By the time she reached high school, she
was writing short stories to entertain her classmates, and
as her stories became more and more popular among the students,
several teachers and other staff members were joining the list
of readers.
Aretha Renia did not pursue a career as a professional writer at
that time, but now that she is older, she has been given a
second chance to follow her dreams. She contacted Publish
America, LLLP in the later part of 2008 by sending them a rough
draft of her manuscript. It was quickly accepted for
publication, and Aretha Renia's road to becoming a published
author began to be paved.
In her personal life, Aretha Renia tends to be a little timid
and reserved. She spends most of her time in the presence of
family and a small circle of friends. The rest of her time is
spent at her computer working. She takes her writing seriously.
Feeling that she almost missed the chance to chase this dream
when she was younger, she feels that it is important to now
dedicate all that she can to make it a success. After all, it is
not everyday that a person gets a second chance to find their
first love.
The official release date for her first book, "Love for
Kenya", is March 12, 2009. This is a special day for her as it
is the day that her dream became an official reality. She
is currently working on her second book, "Soothing Raiyne"and
hopes to see it published before the Christmas holidays roll
again.
