I, Alysun
Sanders, was born in Vallejo, California on October 13,
1990. Started trying to write my first book in first grade,
but I always wanted to be a storyteller. I moved to Coeur
d’Alene, Idaho when I was nine years old, and thought of the
idea for EKTA when I was fourteen. Continued working on it
through the end of middle school and throughout all of high
school, along with a few short stories. Finished my first
novel in my sophomore year, and immediately began work on
the second. Now 17, I live with my mom and dad in Hayden,
and I hope to continue writing for the rest of my life.

Lanaia Lee is a
46-year-old stroke survivor that suffered a stroke at 35 due to
high blood pressure. Her disease is called erratic hypertension.
Ever since the stroke Lanaia has been in a wheelchair but she
hasnt let that stop her one bit! In Lanaia own words "I still
rock and roll, and I mean literally roll!" Lanaia has also lost
six children due to her problem with blood pressure, leaving her
with no living children, except for her 3 year old Jack Russell
Terrier. He is her baby and constant companion. She has been
married to a wonderful husband for ten years, who is also in a
wheelchair, but they live totally independently and on their
own. Although according to Lanaia, "This factor does make life
interesting! But we face each challenge with the help of God."
Her grandmother, a self-professed black witch, raised Lanaia
after her mother died when she was eight years old. Why does
Lanaia write such dark poetry? In Lanaia's words, "I guess being
raised with the occult and supernatural explains why I have such
a knack for dark poetry. Writing is one of the few things I can
do that relaxes me. I will probably write for as long as I live
because this is something that I really love to do. God gave me
this literary gift, so why not use ?"

Cheryl T. Pillsbury
I began writing in my teens, in a diary and noticed
the diary turned into a story and that’s where Angus Grady began. Over
the years, other stories came along. I had my daughter at 35, her name
is Alicia. She’s a special needs child, PDD-Autism. The list is too
long but she’s my life line. I got married at 36.
I met Al Blanchard who’s also a published writer,
‘Murder on Walden Pond.’ He was a close friend and my mentor. He sadly
passed away November 14, 2004.
I have several books published:
Angus Grady; The Beginning and AG; Spirit of Arachula
Bradley & Farley; 33rd District
Nathan: The Chosen
Peleport
Amie and the Purple Butterfly (series for Autism)
My Underworld (Kellie Wynne—pen name)
AG Press: a company I developed from past experiences with other
publishers. I wanted something that could be inexpensive and help other
author’s see their name and words in print. We have low prices; offer a
huge variety of services for your book plus your personal/business
life. We’re a team and we work that way among ourselves and with the
author. So far in six months, we have published 8 books. We’re on
Amazon, working on Barnes and Noble, Books-in-million, Toadstool
Bookstore and our website.

Hi! My
name is Anastasia Cassella-Young and I am an author. I was born
in Bar Harbor, Maine and raised in a very small country town
called Jonesboro. I left college to go travel and have traveled
the eastern seaboard several times stopping to live in Florida
and New York City! I have one son, whose father (my husband)
passed away at age 39 when my son was 9. I am happily remarried
and currently live in Cherryfield, Maine.
I have
written ten books thus far. I am disabled with psychological and
physical issues. The psychological issues include being
Bi-polar. When I am in a manic state my mind runs a mile a
minute and allows me to come up with the ideas that I get for my
books. I am what you call a Bi-polar survivor because I remain
alive and functional. Bi-polar is a very hard illness to live
with as the mood swings act like a pendulum and one can go from
a manic to a depressive state in minutes, hours, days or weeks!
So I survive by writing!
My
talents: I am an editor, formatter, proofreader, reviewer and
web site manager. I have edited hundreds of books, manuscripts
and documents. I do free reviews. I run a web site called
Anastasia’s Book Attic which is for free advertising for authors
with an unlimited amount of submissions meaning an author may
submit any number of books that they wish. These submissions
also go on a sister site automatically and that site is called
Anne’s Book Corner. You simply fill out a submission form for
each book and I do all the work. I also do free Author
Spotlights on my site as well. This is to help advertise the
author. You simply fill out an interview form and I do all the
work. I also do free reviews and post them on my site and on
any site that you would like to have them on if I can get access
to it.
I enjoy
the free web site because I believe that authors end up paying
an arm and a leg for advertising and if I can help I do.
My editing fees are also very modest in the interest of helping
authors out. My basic formatting that I do I charge a simple
flat rate too! |

My pen name is Larsen M.
Callirhoe. I am 37 years old male born March 31, 1971.
I was in a car accident in August 1996 which changed my
outlook in life. My wife Joyce left me then and I am now
divorced and single. I now believe I can make a difference
in the world with my writings. In this accident I became a
quadriplegic because I broke my neck. I can move my arms and
right hand and right fingers allowing me to do daily
functions such as bathing, shaving, brushing my teeth,
combing my hair etc... and it also allows me to type on the
keyboard with that hand also. I started writing in June
2000.when I lived on my own in a apartment in Cincinnati,
Ohio. I am now a resident in a nursing home called Glencare
in Cincinnati, Ohio. You can drop me a line oh i mean
letter because my name is listed a few sentences below in
this article and the address of this nursing home is listed
on the internet too. My birth name is Victor M. Lashewitz.
As i said I believe my writings especially my poetry and
short stories that I write can impact the world and make a
difference and are now very spiritually oriented and
focused. I have been studying college grammar on my own
with computer disk I purchased bin 2003 June. I have
learned how to write more accurately with this computer
program. Well I look forward to being on the writing staff
of Poetic Monthly. I also look forward to getting to know
the staff. Here is a little more back ground information on
me. I was born in south Florida and grew up in that area.
I lived there till November 1999. I love the beach, reading
Anne Rice novels, Stephen King Novels, many other writers
novels, I'm a Star Wars geek (lol), I love music, I believe
in spirituality, and I love reading and writing poetry. I
used to love collecting and reading comic books until I got
hurt in 1996 and had to give up this hobby because I
couldn't afford the comic books anymore. I miss reading
comic books dearly. Well now you have gotten a better
understanding of me. I now emphasize wearing a seatbelt
when driving in a vehicle. I didn't and became paralyzed in
a accident because I didn't wear one. So please take care
of yourself.
Til next time. Larsen M. Callirhoe.

I started penning at the age of sixteen when I wrote my
first poem "Save The Children". With much encouragement from
family and friends I continued to write. When in my early
twenties I published my first article "Men of Bondage" in the
local paper "The citizen". In continuation several of my poems
were also published. I then pulled away from the writing world
and penned only for myself when my own family came into focus. I
found myself writing poems for siblings who passed on to aid in
my grief. Since then I have published a book of poetry which had
slept for many years in a closet tucked away. "Echoes of an Era"
was born. My love for children soon brought about "Hugs and
Kisses" which is a book to be used as a tool to help parents
speak to children about sexual abuse. Soon after came "The Story
Box-A collection of Adventures". Now restless with lots of
stories forming in my mind, a book for the young adult emerged.
"Love laws". There is much inside still waiting to be unhinged.
I have since finished another poetry book which is waiting to be
brought to the readers of poetry. "Life is poetry to me".
